The very day, in fact just a few hours after, we made THIS POST about changing our web address I got an email from my current registrar letting me know that the current holder of the domain has decided to let it go. This happened two months after they renewed the domain so they already paid for it.
It looks as though vodahost were watching our blog and once they saw that we were not going to give in to their extortion attempts they decided to give up. If it wasn't for our attempt to auto register the domain when it expired in August, we wouldn't have gotten the notice that the status of the address had changed from it's captive state.
For now the web address will bring you here, to the blog, but in the future we plan to rebuild the website.

Hey are yall still going to try to sell the theater? Did you ever get a roof on it?
We have done a lot of work on the roof, while not 100% complete it no longer has a huge hole in it and should not be leaking.
We still want to fix the theater and get it into working order. Kenedy deserves as many good, family friendly, places as it can get. Money, however, is not easy to come by and living so far away makes it cost prohibitive to do a lot of meaningful work. We have to save up a small fortune just to cover the cost of travel to and from Kenedy. If we had a good place to live near by as well as good jobs we could get the place fixed up at a much faster pace.
As for selling, We are not actively out trying to sell the property or advertising it for sale. We will, however, be willing to entertain and discuss any offers anyone would have for us.
I am somewhat interested in the theater. But I would like to see it. I am local within an hour or so.
